Picasso’s influence on architecture

Pablo Picasso was well known for his cubism paintings with some focusing on the form of buildings. The painting below shows his approach to objects being broken up and re-assembled into abstracted shapes.

The design of the house below by Luis Barragan was inspired by the work of Picasso, following a similar approach to form, line and colour using the same pink/orange tones. – Lucy
